"HoaxBusters". A site maintained by the U. S. Dept. of Energy Computer Incident Advisory Capability ("CIAC"). An excellent "must see" resource about computer viruses, hoaxes, chain letters, scams, etc. Vmyths An excellent source to de-bunk many "Urban Legends", False "virus alerts", etc. Check this site before automatically reacting to or forwarding a chain letter warning about "the latest virus" or calamity or "sad story". Sophos This virus, spam, hoax, monitoring site has a feature that allows one to sign up for e-mail notification about the latest virus threats. It also tracks the latest viruses.
